In the beautiful eastern hills of Connecticut, Sandy and Craig were married last weekend at the Golden Lamb Buttery. It was a very cool and windy day, but so beautiful up on the hill where this wonderful restaurant is located in Brooklyn, CT. Here are a few favorite portraits from the day.
I had the honor of photographing two stunningly beautiful people this weekend. UConn students of Engineering, Zahra and Sina came to me for their photo session before their engagement/wedding party on Saturday. I wish you both the best!
What a beautiful day for two incredible people, Elisabete and Andrew. They were married yesterday at the Harding- Allen Estate house in Barre, MA. It is a spectacular setting for a garden ceremony and indoor reception. This was my first time there and I highly recommend it! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day.
Last week I had the honor of photographing Erika and Steven, both musicians and graduates from UConn! What a lovely couple they are! They are getting married in Woodstock, CT at the ‘Pink House’, also known historically as the Roseland Cottage. Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session.
Regan and Jason were married at the Riverview in Simsbury last Friday. Everything went beautifully! She wore a gorgeous gown – a Tara Keely design from Mariella’s Attic in Rocky Hill, CT; Invitations were done by Harvest Moon Ink; and the flowers were designed by Stylish Blooms . Congratulations to this terrific couple! Here are a few highlights from the day.
It was a beautiful, warm May Day wedding for Ann-Marie and Chris on Saturday. Ann Marie looked gorgeous and Chris dashing! Here are just a few of my favorites as a preview! I love Ann-Marie’s hair piece! After the wedding we went to the 8th hole at Vineyard Valley Golf Course in Pomfret, CT – one of their favorite hilltop places where I made this image for them. They are truely on top of their world! Congratulations to both of you! What a fabulous couple you are and I feel honored to have photographed your wedding day!
Meet my new friends, Gretchen and Armond. They were married last September, and came to me for a formal portrait in their wedding clothes. What an amazing and beautiful couple! I have to share these with you. I just loved the Scottish attire! They look like a royal couple! Gretchen mentioned that is was great to do it after the wedding – I photographed them in my studio where they were cool and comfortable. Think about this option if you would like a formal bridal or bride and groom portrait. It was great fun, too!
I am proud to be chosen again this year to receive the Bride’s Choice Award from the WeddingWire Network. This network recognizes vendors that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds (brides and grooms) through surveys and reviews. If you are a bride or groom, check out the WeddingWire storefront. There are many wedding professionals, from florists, dress shops and planners that are great at what they do. You can read reviews from real customers to find what you need to finish planning your wedding day. You can even make your own wedding website to keep family and friends informed. It is free and easy to set up. My clients are doing that and having a great time with it! Read all of our Wedding Photography Reviews at
My wonderful clients, Pamela and Jason, who are getting married this July, just sent me their ‘Save the Date’ card and it is great! We had a cold day in December to shoot it, 20 degree weather! But they don’t even look cold here, do they? Great job and good fun! So here it is as promised! I need to credit the graphic designer on this project! Pam, leave it in a comment! Thanks.
Today Alexandria and Jason were married in the beautiful historic First Baptist Church in Storrs, Connecticut. This was the snowy wedding day that they had hoped for! All went well besides the weather – they both worked hard to pull off this intimate ceremony and dinner for close family and friends. They are both UConn students and Jason has planned a surprise honeymoon in snowy Vermont! I can’t wait to find out what wonderful destination he chose. Here are a few images of the day.
