The Connecticut National Golf Club in Putnam, CT was the setting for the wedding reception of Marie and Josh yesterday. What a beautiful day it was. There was warm brilliant sun, then a few clouds and cool winds – but the day was joyous and fun. Here is just a few photos from the day…MORE to come SOON.
Congratulations to Petra-Ann and Derrick who were married in a beautiful ceremony surrounded by friends and family – many who came from Jamaica! I had a great time photographing these gorgeous people. As usual, Amarante’s Seacliff did a great job! Here are a few of my favorite moments from the day. First, a quiet few moments with mom and dad. Bubbles kept the kids busy while we waited for everyone to arrive! And at last, even after dark we had portraits to do down by the water at Amarantes…. the skyline and the evening was beautiful!
I had the honor of photographing the wedding of Melanie and Jeff on Sunday. It took place at the beautiful Amarante’s Seacliff in New Haven, CT. Melanie looked fabulous in a gown by Casablanca from Fairy Tales Formal in Glastonbury. The cake was by Creative Cakes by Donna. The grooms mother, Beth Weller and friend, Janet Sanders provided the floral centerpieces and the beautiful sunflower bouquets! Here are a few of my favorite images from the day! The last image of the couples first dance was taken by the amazing, Jean Moledetz, who was my second photographer for the day!
I created this portrait of Regan while she was taking a few moments to relax before she and her new husband Jason made their entrance into the reception for their first dance together as husband and wife. They were married at The Riverview, in Simsbury, CT.
I had the privilege to photograph the wedding of Rosalie and Aaron a few days ago on New Years Eve. They were married in a small ceremony of family and friends at a beautiful little church in Brooklyn, CT. These two very beautiful and special people are serving our country in Afghanistan and Iraq. After a honeymoon this week, they will both get ready to go back into active duty later this month. Thank you Rosalie and Aaron, I was honored to share your day! Here are some highlights –
I thought I would begin a blog series of wedding album designs. This way you can see what I do for my clients after the wedding. All my albums designs are custom, made specifically to match the couples style and the wedding day feel. No two albums are ever the same! The style I chose here was simple and traditional. Meet Amy and John. They were married in June 2010 and they planned an intimate garden wedding. Check back soon as I will be showing you more designs from this years weddings. Thank you for stopping by the blog!
In the beautiful eastern hills of Connecticut, Sandy and Craig were married last weekend at the Golden Lamb Buttery. It was a very cool and windy day, but so beautiful up on the hill where this wonderful restaurant is located in Brooklyn, CT. Here are a few favorite portraits from the day.
Amy and John were married in a beautiful backyard setting. Family and friends enjoyed the glorious evening – the weather could not have been more perfect for their special day. Here are a few images to preview. The Harvest, from Pomfret, CT catered the event. The food was super! Congratulations to Amy and John! I hung out a window on the second story of the house for this one!
Meet my new friends, Gretchen and Armond. They were married last September, and came to me for a formal portrait in their wedding clothes. What an amazing and beautiful couple! I have to share these with you. I just loved the Scottish attire! They look like a royal couple! Gretchen mentioned that is was great to do it after the wedding – I photographed them in my studio where they were cool and comfortable. Think about this option if you would like a formal bridal or bride and groom portrait. It was great fun, too!
Meet my new friends and clients, Pamela and Jason. They drove all the way down from Massachusetts to meet me before the snow storm yesterday for a photo session in the freezing cold. Why? We shot for their totally awesome ‘save the date’ card! The card will have a bunch of ‘paparazzi style’ images of them and maybe I will post the end product here. In the mean time – here is one of my favorite images of them. Can you guess where we shot this? Yes, in Connecticut; yes, just before the snow storm….humm
