Zachary’s Amazing Senior Session!

I had a great time on Horsebarn Hill and in the studio with one of my awesome HS Seniors and wanted to share a few images from our session!  We did this a few weeks ago before the weather turned cold!

Patrick’s a Senior!

Meet Patrick.  He is a senior this year and we had a great senior portrait session.  We did some in the studio and then took it outdoors for more casual imagery, including this favorite of mine with his truck.

Wedding at the Golden Lamb Buttery in Brooklyn

In the beautiful eastern hills of Connecticut,  Sandy and Craig were married last weekend at the Golden Lamb Buttery.  It was a very cool and windy day, but so beautiful up on the hill where this wonderful restaurant is located in Brooklyn, CT.  Here are a few favorite portraits from the day.

Peak season engagement session in Connecticut!

Tiffany and Bill gave me the honor of photographing them yesterday at the peak of  fall foliage season here in Connecticut. What a day! We did dodge some raindrops, the sun peaked out for a few minutes and we were grateful that it was comfortably warm.  We walked the grounds of the Wadsworth Mansion, Wadsworth Falls and Lyman Orchards in the Middletown area.  Here are some of my favorite images from the afternoon.  Thank you Tiffany and Bill and congratulations on your engagement! Please leave a comment or visit some of my portrait and wedding galleries on this site.  Thanks for visiting by blog!

Zahra and Sina to be married!

I had the honor of photographing two stunningly beautiful people this weekend.  UConn students of Engineering, Zahra and Sina came to me for their photo session before their engagement/wedding party on Saturday.  I wish you both the best!

Engagement at Knowlton Farm 10-10-10

I can’t wait for Melanie and Jeff’s wedding in April at Amarante’s Seacliff (New Haven).  But, Sunday, 10-10-10, we had a totally awesome  engagement photo session at Knowlton Hill Farm right down the road from my studio!  Melanie nearly fell off the hay truck, then was sneezed on by a cow!  And, Jeff found the car of his dreams in the barn! What an adventure!  Take a look at how great these guys look!  Here a some of my favorite images from the day.

Take time for yourself…

Taking time for yourself, family and friends.  What a concept in this busy world today.  I know that I have created a busy, hectic life for myself, which is great most of the time… but I was feeling tired and needed some fun time with my family and friends. Since we only had ONE day to get out of our usual routine, we knew we had to squeeze the time in.  So, we got up early, took a train to NYC, met our friends at the Byrant Park Fountain next to the public library, walked, talked, visited St. Patricks Cathedral, ate some great Chinese food, went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and saw spectacular art from Egypt to the European Masters!  Then down to the west village to see more friends for dinner and then trained it home.  We did not get home until 1:30 am!  But we experienced all we could in one day and we’re not feeling any regrets! (Even though we are all tired today!) Here are just a few images from a great day in New York. Just outside grand central terminal with the Chrysler Building behind it…. My son, Matt, enjoying the view – […]

Walking the Dog….

It was a great beach week, wasn’t it?  A real summer preview.  I had the pleasure of going to the beach with Ann-Marie and Chris, plus Kenzie, their dog.  They will be married the 1st of May and these are some of my favorite images from their engagement session.  Ann-Marie and Chris, you are a wonderful couple.  And Kenzie, a great little dog!  Thanks for sharing the day with me and I can’t wait until your wedding day!

Elegant Wedding at College Club of Boston

My husband and I had the honor of being guests at the wedding of our two special friends, Christina and Clayton, this past Sunday.  What an incredible day it was.  Spring arrived just for them!! It took place at The College Club of Boston, on Commonwealth Ave. just a block from the Garden. If you have not heard of, or been to this gorgeous gem of a venue, you must check it out!  It is perfect for a small, intimate, yet elegant wedding ceremony and party.  It is also a B&B! You will feel like you have stepped into a mid-18th century home and parlour.  The walls are painted in pastel colors with beautiful trees and birds, the windows, the curtains, furniture,  lighting, and the grand piano take you into another world. Here are some of my favorite images of two very special people! Christina looks spectacular! The room set a beautiful mood for the intimate ceremony. The happy couple posing for photographs by family and friends. Surrounded by loving friends…. The groom’s cake!  Clayton is a fabulous violist!  If you are in need of one, hire him! Everyone needs that picture! I just loved Christina’s dress! First dance… This […]

Have some fun with your ‘Save the Date’ cards!

My wonderful clients, Pamela and Jason,  who are getting married this July, just sent me their ‘Save the Date’ card and it is great!  We had a cold day in December to shoot it, 20 degree weather!  But they don’t even look cold here, do they?   Great job and good fun!  So here it is as promised! I need to credit the graphic designer on this project!  Pam, leave it in a comment!  Thanks.
