What a glorious day Pamela and Jason had on Sunday. They were married at the Inn at Mystic and everything went perfectly as planned! Here are some highlights from the day.All dressed and ready to go! Pam looked absolutely star quality! The beautiful setting behind the mansion.. A couple of quiet moments together before sunset.. This awesome cake.. by Felicia’s Sweetface Pastry Shoppe. And an incredibly fun party with the amazing ‘Matty B’ as DJ- he sings, plays guitar and sax! Congratulations, Pam and Jason! What a weekend it was! Erika and Steven, a couple since their high school days were married in the beautiful town of Woodstock, CT, at her church where her father is the minister! He gave her away and married them! They rode in a hay wagon pulled by a tractor to the reception at the ‘Pink House‘ up the road! The cupcakes were incredible! I cannot remember the name of the baker! Please comment here if you know- he deserves recognition. Each one was a work of art. Here are some highlights! Erika and Steven are both very talented musicians, graduates from the Dept. of Music at UConn. Wishing you the very best in your bright future together!
Amy and John were married in a beautiful backyard setting. Family and friends enjoyed the glorious evening – the weather could not have been more perfect for their special day. Here are a few images to preview. The Harvest, from Pomfret, CT catered the event. The food was super! Congratulations to Amy and John! I hung out a window on the second story of the house for this one!
Last week I had the honor of photographing Erika and Steven, both musicians and graduates from UConn! What a lovely couple they are! They are getting married in Woodstock, CT at the ‘Pink House’, also known historically as the Roseland Cottage. Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session.
It was a brilliant day out at Case Mountain in Manchester, where I met my new friends Amy and John for an engagement session last weekend! We made some great images and got some great exercise too! I really like this shot… Amy and John are planning a backyard wedding at their home in Connecticut. This is very popular these days to put together a cost effective event at home! Stay tuned for the highlights at the end of June!
Regan and Jason are planning a May wedding at the Riverview! This is one cool couple and I had a great time with them in downtown Hartford for their engagement session. Here are some of my favorite images…. Stay tuned for the wedding highlights at the end of May!
It was a great beach week, wasn’t it? A real summer preview. I had the pleasure of going to the beach with Ann-Marie and Chris, plus Kenzie, their dog. They will be married the 1st of May and these are some of my favorite images from their engagement session. Ann-Marie and Chris, you are a wonderful couple. And Kenzie, a great little dog! Thanks for sharing the day with me and I can’t wait until your wedding day!
Meet my new friends, Gretchen and Armond. They were married last September, and came to me for a formal portrait in their wedding clothes. What an amazing and beautiful couple! I have to share these with you. I just loved the Scottish attire! They look like a royal couple! Gretchen mentioned that is was great to do it after the wedding – I photographed them in my studio where they were cool and comfortable. Think about this option if you would like a formal bridal or bride and groom portrait. It was great fun, too!
I am proud to be chosen again this year to receive the Bride’s Choice Award from the WeddingWire Network. This network recognizes vendors that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds (brides and grooms) through surveys and reviews. If you are a bride or groom, check out the WeddingWire storefront. There are many wedding professionals, from florists, dress shops and planners that are great at what they do. You can read reviews from real customers to find what you need to finish planning your wedding day. You can even make your own wedding website to keep family and friends informed. It is free and easy to set up. My clients are doing that and having a great time with it! Read all of our Wedding Photography Reviews at
My wonderful clients, Pamela and Jason, who are getting married this July, just sent me their ‘Save the Date’ card and it is great! We had a cold day in December to shoot it, 20 degree weather! But they don’t even look cold here, do they? Great job and good fun! So here it is as promised! I need to credit the graphic designer on this project! Pam, leave it in a comment! Thanks.
