One of the reasons I love my job is that I meet the most wonderful people that I would never have met unless I was their photographer. I love the stories of my clients and Marsha and Don have a lovely story. Don spent many years devoted to taking care of his very ill parents, he has never been married before. Marsha lost here first husband to a serious illness and they both decided to join a bereavement group. They fell in love and got married last week at the Inn at Woodstock Hill. It did rain that day, however it did not during the ceremony. The Inn did a great job and I recommend it to any bride looking for a beautiful spot to have a ceremony and reception, gorgeous grounds for the portraits, plus a beautiful room for the night. Meet Marsha and Don, to very special people. I wish them all the best in their lives together.
What a glorious day Pamela and Jason had on Sunday. They were married at the Inn at Mystic and everything went perfectly as planned! Here are some highlights from the day.All dressed and ready to go! Pam looked absolutely star quality! The beautiful setting behind the mansion.. A couple of quiet moments together before sunset.. This awesome cake.. by Felicia’s Sweetface Pastry Shoppe. And an incredibly fun party with the amazing ‘Matty B’ as DJ- he sings, plays guitar and sax! Congratulations, Pam and Jason! You are a wonderful couple and it has been an honor to photography your day! Kim
What a weekend it was! Erika and Steven, a couple since their high school days were married in the beautiful town of Woodstock, CT, at her church where her father is the minister! He gave her away and married them! They rode in a hay wagon pulled by a tractor to the reception at the ‘Pink House‘ up the road! The cupcakes were incredible! I cannot remember the name of the baker! Please comment here if you know- he deserves recognition. Each one was a work of art. Here are some highlights! Erika and Steven are both very talented musicians, graduates from the Dept. of Music at UConn. Wishing you the very best in your bright future together!
Amy and John were married in a beautiful backyard setting. Family and friends enjoyed the glorious evening – the weather could not have been more perfect for their special day. Here are a few images to preview. The Harvest, from Pomfret, CT catered the event. The food was super! Congratulations to Amy and John! I hung out a window on the second story of the house for this one!
Last week I had the honor of photographing Erika and Steven, both musicians and graduates from UConn! What a lovely couple they are! They are getting married in Woodstock, CT at the ‘Pink House’, also known historically as the Roseland Cottage. Here are some of my favorites from their engagement session.
It was a brilliant day out at Case Mountain in Manchester, where I met my new friends Amy and John for an engagement session last weekend! We made some great images and got some great exercise too! I really like this shot… Amy and John are planning a backyard wedding at their home in Connecticut. This is very popular these days to put together a cost effective event at home! Stay tuned for the highlights at the end of June!
Regan and Jason are planning a May wedding at the Riverview! This is one cool couple and I had a great time with them in downtown Hartford for their engagement session. Here are some of my favorite images…. Stay tuned for the wedding highlights at the end of May!
It was a great beach week, wasn’t it? A real summer preview. I had the pleasure of going to the beach with Ann-Marie and Chris, plus Kenzie, their dog. They will be married the 1st of May and these are some of my favorite images from their engagement session. Ann-Marie and Chris, you are a wonderful couple. And Kenzie, a great little dog! Thanks for sharing the day with me and I can’t wait until your wedding day!
