Hi. I am a wedding photographer in Connecticut. I love this state and New England with all it variety. I was born and raised here, but have not lived here my whole life. After spending time in New York City and Rochester, NY for my college years; Santa Barbara, CA and Baton Rouge, LA working and starting a family, I am grateful to have moved back to Connecticut to live in its’ ‘Quiet Corner‘. I like the variety New England offers from its cities, beaches, mountains and of course the seasonal changes that make photography here so colorful. It is a great place to raise children, too! I have raised two of them. Anyway, I just wanted to share some of the wonderful moments in my 2012 season of weddings here in Connecticut and New England…. though my reach this year was only in Connecticut to Massachusetts but, I loved every minute! Here are some warm weather moments to enjoy. This first couple, Heather and Eric were married in July at the beautiful Alumni House on the UConn campus. It is a wonderful venue. This ceremony took place in the lovely courtyard. Here is Petra-Ann and Derrick whose wedding […]
I had the pleasure of photographing Heather and Eric on Horsebarn Hill on the campus of the University of Connecticut. They are engaged to be married in July! Congratulations to them both. They are graduates of UConn so it was fitting to photograph them on “the hill”. I just love the images we made that day.
Playing catch up! I have been busy, however, blogging has taken a backseat! But now I have more time to share what I have been up to! I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with Zack, a really cool Senior 2012 from E.O. Smith High School in Storrs. I love the images we created. Here are a few I’d like to share with you.
Now that the new year is underway, update that headshot. Don’t settle for last years photo! You’ve been working out and have a new hair-do, you look your best right now. In fact, you will never look as good as you do today! Give me a call now. Here is Sue, she actually got it done! Great job, Sue! You look beautiful!
Today Alexandria and Jason were married in the beautiful historic First Baptist Church in Storrs, Connecticut. This was the snowy wedding day that they had hoped for! All went well besides the weather – they both worked hard to pull off this intimate ceremony and dinner for close family and friends. They are both UConn students and Jason has planned a surprise honeymoon in snowy Vermont! I can’t wait to find out what wonderful destination he chose. Here are a few images of the day.
I wish you all a very happy, peaceful and prosperous new year. Enjoy your family and friends; and take time for yourselves as well, to reflect on your dreams and aspirations for 2010. I think it will be a wonderful year! Thank you to all of you who touched my life in 2009. Because of you it was a very special year for me and my photography. Stay tuned for my first wedding of 2010 on this Saturday January 2nd. It is happening right here in Storrs, Connecticut. I will post images next week! Yours, Kim
