December 22, 2014 in Pomfret, CT
Last week in the beautiful rolling hills of eastern Connecticut, I photographed this Tyrone Farm Engagement Session with Julie and Chris. Their wedding will be next August, but December was the best time for their Tyrone Farm Engagement Session since they live in Dijon, France and were here for the holidays.
Planning an Engagement Session?
If you think you have to wait for warmer months of the year for your engagement session, I recommend that you not let the colder seasons stop you! Each season has its character and benefits, I actually love the soft light of late fall and winter. Luckily, it was not too cold that day. The most important aspect of the engagement session is the connection between you and your wedding photographer. It is an important time to get to know each other photographically before the wedding day. I have more information about this in earlier blog posts if you are interested – links can be found here: Engagement Session Tips. and HERE.
I think Tyrone Farm is a beautiful place for a wedding, and a great place for an engagement session anytime of year! Congratulations to Julie and Chris – I cannot wait to photograph their wedding day. Here are some favorite images from their Tyrone Farm Engagement Session.
